Vegan Choc Protein Balls
I’m not kidding when I say these are the best vegan protein balls you’ll ever make. They’re moist, sweet and chocolatey - the perfect combination in my eyes. They’re great as a post-workout energiser or an afternoon snack.
Makes 8 large balls.
Ingredients
1 cup ground oats
1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder
1 cup dates
2 tbs maple syrup
1/4 cup vegan white chocolate chips
1/4 cup vegan mylk chocolate chips
Soak the dates in a cup of boiling water to soften.
Add the oats and protein powder into a food processor and blend until well mixed.
Drain the dates and throw them in the food processor with the maple syrup. Blend until a dough forms.
Add in the chocolate chips and pulse until mixed through, making sure to keep the chunks in tact.
Roll the dough into balls in the palm of your hands. Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
